Have you ever noticed
the odd behavior of a young couple in love? One
of the seemingly bizarre things they do is try
to learn everything there is to know about each
other, including learning about hobbies they
previously had no interest in. A component of
any love relationship is learning about the one
you love. At Alamance Lutheran, we seek to
deepen our Love of Christ by learning more about
Christ. As part of our mission, we provide

Confirmation

Confirmation
Classes are for our younger teenagers
and meet usually during the Sunday
school hour. There is also a
Campfirmation
component to confirmation instruction.
Confirmation students generally attend a
week long Campfirmation program the
summer before they are confirmed.
Confirmation instruction, including
Campfirmation is an in depth study of
Lutheran Beliefs and practices designed
for Young Christians to gain an
intellectual understanding of their
faith. Upon completion of confirmation
instruction, Confirmands confirm their
beliefs through public affirmation of
their baptisms and become adult members
of the congregation. |
